St. Clare's School, Lokai is a Private Unaided Christian Minority School established in 1994 by the Koderma Franciscan Clarist Sisters, a unit of the Franciscan Congregation. The Franciscan Clarist Sisters are the members of the Third order of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi. The congregation has been active in the field of education, Medical & Social work in different parts of the country since its origin on 14 December 1888.St. Clare's School is a Co-educational day school, affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), New Delhi, since 2007. The medium of Instruction is English. The school is open to all irrespective of caste, creed , economic status or place of origin.
